Such love all around.<br />If I could be confident our cats would be chill with stranger visitors, we would definitely foster.&nbsp;<br />They get along great with our son's cat (here now), and are friends with one of the two outdoor cats who dine chez nous on the regular (outside), but there is one outdoor cat that causes our younger one to puff his tail up 5 sizes and throw himself against the porch door! The torn ear reminds me of Chester, a cat we had when I was a kid. My mom found him, near dying, curled up under a shrub in our front yard. We took him in and fed him and kept him. He chased our dog at first. I hope this guy finds a perfect home for Christmas.</p> <p>We are enjoying the Christmas season with our two kitten siblings adopted this past June, and now 8 months old. We lost our two beloved senior cats last year within the space of two months, so we opened our home and hearts to these little guys. Best decision ever. They have brought much joy to our lives. They are all over the Christmas tree, and Tommy has made it to the top—it's a 10-footer—several times. What a cutie! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/xmas-has-arrived-sooner#post-2297826 Thu, 22 Dec 2022 22:33:36 +0000 Minaminu 2297826@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Thought would have been nice to share some good news :)</p> <p>Over the last 6 months, Mr Minu and I have been talking back and forth about adopting a new pet, however&nbsp;I still don't think that we're emotionally ready nor don't want to impose long oversea move to a pet, as we are planning for a big move.&nbsp;</p> <p>Fostering seems to be the best compromise, particularly as our previous boys came from a rescue center and we both believe that&nbsp;it is important to support the local pet charities.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />And here's our very first foster "kitten", a sweet golden oldy who purrs every time when there is food or a cuddle. He'll stay with us over the Xmas time and hopefully will find his forever home before the New Year.</p>
