It's always wonderful to watch how easily children make friends through play. One starts, the other one copies, then they no longer want to play alone but call the other one back… fun, funny and full of joy. As for the knee holes, this must be the best unexpected comment ever, I was literally in tears from laughing. Actually, girls from his kindergarden loved him a lot. One didn't want to let him go home one day, she cornered him and hugged him when I came to pick him up. Hilarious.  And he figured out the power of comedy "L. is my friend now, she wasn't before. But I was playing a clown once and she was laughing and she wants to be my friend now." Three of the girls will live in the same new neighbourhood, we all have our new houses built there. And for fun, I am attaching the photo of how I found him yesterday - they were all helping out to clean the kindergarden for the summer break. As for aloe veras, we've been planting them togehter ever since he was in his baby chair and reached for them the first time he saw me messing about with compost and pots. Back then he liked getting his hands in the soil, nowadays it just carries on as our thing. But he learnt a lot along the way - to be gentle with plants, to talk to them and take care of them, that aloe vera will help burns and cuts, even that we can eat them. And I have a lot more coming to talk about during future plantings :-) pil :: thank you. I think one must love that innocent determination of our little people. My son would not wear the 'pirate' shirt I recently bought him to the kindergarden for the world, but does when we go outside. "Mummy, it is confusing, it's not Halloween."
