They are great and just as Angie described. They seem warm, good for fall and winter. I love the pattern, it is very subtle. I wanted something different from basic black pants, but I tire easily of loud or high-contrast prints and colors so these seem perfect. I'm 5'7 and they are a good regular full length, not floor-sweeping and not cropped. VERY comfortable! </p> <p>I waffled on the size and in the end sized down. In case this is helpful to anyone: I'm normally a size 10, sometimes 8. I have a very long rise so love high- rise pants. I have a W&amp;W pair of stretchy high rise jeans that fit perfectly in a size 8. But, I need a 10 in W&amp;W shorts and twill pants. The 10 in these was pretty good in a more flowy kind of way, but the 8 seemed to be a neat and slim fit at the top, wide but not too wide leg, and comfortable but without too much extra fabric, gaping, or pulling. I almost bought both (!) but went with the smaller size... really hoping they don't shrink or change in any way in the wash!</p> <p>(Sorry the pictures are dark... hopefully you get the idea) </p>
