She is very sensitive to sounds-her previous owners had Harley Davidson motorcycles and kept her locked in her crate for 10+ hours a day and then left to her own defenses in the backyard when they were home. I have visions of what she experienced but it's hard to say what else may have gone on. Hugs to puppy too.&nbsp; https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wtw-kr-and-other-stuff#post-918727 Fri, 26 Apr 2013 17:03:07 +0000 CocoLion 918727@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Sorry to hear about the rescue dog biting problem. &nbsp;My bf has a rescue dog and one of our dogs came from a border collie placement service (the unwanted ones go through this service) so even though he was just 4 months old, he had grown up in a trailer laundry room and has so much fear, still, at almost 7 years. &nbsp;And my bf's dog has bitten me so hard, I don't even know where to start. &nbsp;But we are still keeping them. &nbsp;We just have to keep them all safely crated when company comes. &nbsp;Otherwise, it's actually good having some suspicious biter dogs for the unwanted company. &nbsp;Our other two dogs are Labs and would let themselves be kidnapped for nothing more than a kind glance not to mention any kind of treat. &nbsp;So the biters have their place, they are truly the watch dogs for us. &nbsp;It's just all about managing them properly. &nbsp;Of course I live in a rural area with lots of warning when someone arrives, so it might be different for someone who lives in a more densely populated area.<br /><br />I am sorry about your ailing mother but so happy you are celebrating your DD's birthday (it's my Mom's birthday tonight too) and a future wedding! &nbsp;I do miss you here. &nbsp;I love this outfit and you are so tall and gorgeous you look like a J Crew model here. &nbsp;You just wear those ankle pants like no one else.<br /><br />As far as the shoes go, I haven't owned a pair of boat shoes since my feet&nbsp;widened and the arches got higher, basically since my feet grew into their adult status. &nbsp;I could wear them as a teen only. &nbsp;So I will leave their fate in more expert hands &nbsp;but I will say they have always been a difficult fit on me compared to ballet flats or oxfords. https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wtw-kr-and-other-stuff#post-918710 Fri, 26 Apr 2013 16:51:12 +0000 lyn67 918710@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Love the shoes and all the whites here ESP <i>before</i> Memorial Day!!! It was a fun day, I was comfortable in my outfit and felt perfectly appropriate for the day. DIL dress is beautiful-still a few more tweaks to make but absolutely stunning. The designer is using Chantilly lace that is so exquisite it takes my breath away. </p> <p>As to fur-baby, we have been in contact with a trainer who is helping us to know how to handle her. Life has been a bit complicated lately not allowing for much fun with fashion. I wont bog you down with details but between my ailing mother and&nbsp;my new rescue dog that bit my brother I have had my hands full. I love this dog, but what were we thinking? <br /><br />Anyway, we are celebrating my dd's birthday tonight but before I am meeting up with my future d-in law for her&nbsp;final wedding dress fitting. The designer apparently created Norah Jones' gown for the Grammy's last year....and has created a new wedding gown design especially for my future DIL and is naming it after her:)<br /><br />1-I was planning to wear this outfit &nbsp;today/tonight-it's a gorgeous warm and sunny day! Is this too casual for a dress fitting? Too much&nbsp;"white" before Memorial Day?&nbsp;<br />2-And this pair&nbsp;New Sperry boat shoes-are they keepers? ps I have fussy feet and these feel pretty good but am still wearing around the house to make sure.<br /><br />Appreciate any and all feedback. Hope to be more active soon, I miss you guys!<br /><br /><br />
