I don't know the vibe of the company, obviously (you said both "financial", which suggests conservative, and "nonprofit", which suggests a little more relaxed/creative). If you think creative is ok, I like the first outfit too, but I think I'd go with the dark jacket as it reads more professional. I'd save the white one for actually working there once you get the job! (eta: not because of the color, but because of the fabric. I love linen but it reads casual and you don't want the creasing taken the wrong way.)</p> <p>I think sling backs are fine. They're the only pumps that stay on my feet without a strap so I've worn them to interviews.
