If time, whiten your teeth. &nbsp;They really want to see your face, so do not wear a mask or sun glasses. &nbsp;We were just on a European trip and passports came out constantly to be compared to their own picture of your face. &nbsp;One airport queue actually copied your passport photo. &nbsp;Another long rather useless line. Twice I've taken ID photos in colours I didn't realize were really not good on me until after seeing the pictures (a coral/white breton in one, and a cobalt top in another). The results were bad enough I got rid of the tops posthaste, but had to live with the photos for years. My best ID photos have been in a charcoal sweater, a black watch plaid shirt, and a chambray shirt. I like to keep the clothing understated and classic in style, such as wearing a jacket with a crew neck top.
