I was surprised to hear Kari's experience, because my high instep can give me trouble with fit. I think Borns run a little big or long, because I am between a 7 and 7.5 usually, and I got the 7 in these. <br />Skylurker, good point about the shaft height. I really liked the style of the Kork-Ease, partly because of the higher shaft and also because of the block heel. How frustrating and in my experience unusual for Nordies to make an error like this. I once had a similar experience when ordering what I thought would be a light periwinkle colored handbag. It arrived, but was dark navy instead. It was a pre-order item so I was disappointed. I called Nordies and they immediately sent out another, but once again the bag was Navy. With further investigation, they discovered there was an error with the picture on the website. I don't think that happens frequently. I have only received the wrong item twice. By the time I received the wrong ones, the booties were sold out, yet, lo and behold, they were restocked, so I re-ordered. <br />And today they arrived--AGAIN the wrong ones. I received the burgundy suede rather than burgundy leather. </p> <p>Also arriving today were the Born booties I ordered when I thought the Kork-Ease might not materialize again, and I'm so thankful I did. I really like them, and I'm keeping them! The suede Kork-Ease are going back, and I'm not trying again with those. No need, with the Borns in hand. The Born booties are just as comfy, if not more so, I like the lower heel, and I really like the style. The burgundy leather is gorgeous, and the suede trim is slightly eggplant, for a very nice contrast. </p>
