When I mentioned gapping issues I was having with a (non-wrap) blouse, several YLFers suggested sewing little snaps to keep it closed. Not having to wrestle with fashion tape in the morning, when my brain is barely functioning, is a big win for me

Gabrielle - I love wrap tops! I have a couple of work arounds:
1. Fashion tape or safety pin in the summer months if the gap is small
2. If the gap is not small, a company called Second Base makes terrific half camis that are perfect for summer.
3.. I always wear full camisoles under them in the winter months for the extra warmth as well as the coverage.

I find them to be so figure flattering and kind to me that I am more than willing to work with them to keep them from gaping

The lovely Thistle wears wrap tops and I think she wears strappy camisoles underneath them so that there is a little extra fabric in the middle where they might gape.

When Angie asked about wardrobe saturation, I noticed that a lot of women mentioned wrap tops. I have never worn or even tried a wrap top on. My rationale has always been that these types of tops much "gap" and expose far more then I am willing to expose at work. I am wondering if I was mistaken. Is there some secret? Can anyone make recommendations? Thank you.
