I added a couple of closeup photos below, trying to show the color. It's rainy here today but I took the pics under the skylight in our bathroom. The first shows my moto with the shirt. The second shows the moto (which is more cream) on the top right, and my optic white denim jacket on the lower right. I think this gives a pretty true picture of the whites, although the pattern is photographing a little dark. Hope that helps! And of course, changing up the silhouette with BFs or straight jeans might yield some new looks too. </p> <p>I did get a couple of compliments from strangers last night (including a "oh, I need to know where you got those jeans!") when I took a bit of a walk through the mall (right across the street from the radio station, such a danger zone, but I had a return to make at Nordstrom Rack). It's funny, I'm not seeing many flare jeans on other people yet, but people seem to be liking them on me. Maybe I'm ahead of the curve around here. </p> <p>Thank you for the advice about hemming too. I'm going to hold off until I've worn and washed them once or twice. For now, they're my "high heels" flares. The Gap bootcuts will be my "low heel" jeans. The hoodie vest layer was worn for part of the day, the blouse alone for part of the day, and the jacket for a little while as well!</p> <p>These jeans are so soft and comfortable -- my only gripe is that the front pockets are very shallow. On me, the pocket fabric rides up a little and gets bunchy after a few hours. </p> <p>I also think I need to sew another snap into this top -- I think at one point today I may have flashed a little pasty white belly.
