Oh, how cool! I think you can take the left corner and put it under the right front, pass it through the hole, bring it around the body so that it is now in your left hand. Tie it to the right long corner, with the tie being somewhere near the waist, in the center or to one side of the body. See if that gives you an interesting draped-front style.

Oh, how unusual. Maybe the slits are just meant for pocket access ((like a cape) and it's not actually intended to be wrapped?

Oh my, I'm already showing my lack of knowledge!
Thank you so much for replying so quickly.

There's no straps, just the slits in the corners.

The slits are usually where you feed the straps through. In other words, feed the strap from one side of the dress through the slit on the other side of the body, and wrap it around the body in one direction. The other strap usually wraps around the body in the other direction, and then you tie the two ends of straps together in a knot or bow.

Does that help at all? It's hard to describe in words.

Hello standarduck, I don't own a wrap dress so I share your confusion. If I understood correctly, you're unsure how to 'tie' the dress. If that's the case, hopefully this youtube video will help.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_wKZ8LiXfw

Hi there!

I'm awfully new I'm afraid. But I come in desperate need of advice. I bought my wonderful partner a wrap cardigan dress, and neither of us can work out how it should be worn.

I'm not sure I can upload photos, so it's a long cardigan with little slits in the two corners, which look like they should fit over the opposite arm...that's such a horrible description... sorry.

X
