Hers were all 3" wide. I asked her to make mine 2 3/4". Seriously. As a small person, I was really concerned about the right proportions. Even that 1/4" was important for me. She made me a perfect obi belt. I have a 17" torso (I'm 5'5") and the space from my underwire to my hip bone measures 8". I love the look of obi belts but they're all too wide! Especially sine I wear a 28J bra, wide belts that swallow my torso and ride up under my bust make it look like my boobs sit on my knees. </p>
