They had an extra 30% off all sale items. They only had black left in the store. I'm between a 2 and a 4 in BR pants and both sizes fit, just differently. I ended up getting the smaller size but may go back and get the 4's too if they still have them after seeing the photo of Angie in hers. These are excellent pants!<br /> BTW, did I read somewhere that someone washes theirs? They say dry clean but look like they can be hand or gentlly washed and hung to dry. Mine do scrunch at the bottom a little bit but are a bit more fitted on my calf, which I like a lot. </p> <p>Mac, when I tried mine on at the store yesterday - with the 'Miranda' pump ( a classic pump with about a 3 inch heel) they scrunched every so slightly. It was not enough that it was unprofessional to me though. These do come in tall and regular and short so I suppose one could try those different lengths although they seem like they would be easy enough to have shortened a bit. I know BR does offer alterations for full price items I think.<br /> Mac, I hope you try them and report back what you think! </p> <p>I really think everyone should try these. They are definitely worth trying on that is for sure. They are different from so many of the ponte pants I think you see out there b/c to me, the ponte pants are much more like leggings. These are not leggings. They almost fit like a stretchy jean but they have enough give in the right places to not feel indecent (the backside, the knee area, even the thigh area). They just fit like sleek, modern pants. I think that is why they have a close to 5 star rating on the BR website from over 250 people. No wonder Maya, Angie, Tanya and many others were raving about them. The store insisted they really will not stretch but instead will retain their shape. I loved them so much I bought two pairs b/c they were on a ridiculous sale at my local store. I found them to be true to size (bought a 6) and they were slim and modern but not immodest. I will totally be wearing these to work with blazers, cardigans, blouses, boots and more. I really, really like these. And based on everyone saying they don't stretch I think my enjoyment of them will remain consistent. They seem to be on sale in some stores, but not online though. </p>
