For your continued support and prayers . Yesterday Meosha walked out of the hospital under her own steam. Here are her exact words.</p> <p>They discharged me...I asked the nurse if I could shower right quick before I left. She said "no problem" and put the discharge time for about an hour later. I showered, got dressed, packed my bag and WALKED out unassisted pass the nurses' station...one nurse at the station asked me "who was I here to see?" which made the other nurses look up...my nurse saw me and said in shock "that is my patient in 15" and the nurses at the station were in awe...mouth opened and all. One nurse looked me up and down and said "Patient? Meosha is still in the hospital 2nd day. In a few hrs it will be day 3. I'm just getting home at 1:45 am. Because Meosha runs 2 charities her self. One Savvy Veteran being the main charity and Combat to Chic falls under the umbrella of the main charity. It is a thrift store. It make the money to sustain the outreach of OSV</p> <p>That means with out Meosha representing both no income comes in. Except for financial contributions she has to stay on track and on budget. There was a author scheduled for a book signing scheduled tonight.</p> <p> Meosha called asked me to open up C2C to the aurthor could have her book signing and people could thrift shop or op shop. I Said YES that turned into a 5 hr job after work. After that I COSED Shop AND HEADED Home. </p> <p>MEOSHA had a really high fever she is getting the best treatment. And her fever broke. I'm supposed to visit her. Un the morning. She is in the hospital in the downtown area of Chicago but I live in the suburb of Chicago an 1 1/2 hrs outside of Chicago.</p> <p> Gonna sleep good tonight or today. I'll go visit her in the evening. I'm so tired. I included a whole bunch of pictures. Hmmmmm. I'm with Meosha now at 8:30 pm I've been here all afternoon. She is resting comfortably after getting the care she needed. We have only known each other for 6 months but we have become fast friends.</p> <p>I spoke with here mother Ms. Linda and she is going through it. Her brother is also in the hospital. I prayed for Ms. Linda also. She is so young ya'll that's all I keep.saying. Meosha has blood clots that could form because she could die. </p> <p>I said to her don't talk like that how could I carry on the work that you do if your not here. Sigh.
