I used scraps from my son's jeans and found a pair of baby jeans at the thrift store to get a soft but different shade of denim. So yes I would (and do) wear them, but not to work even on casual Friday. Sometimes it takes a while to hit on the right combination. And then there are other pieces where I feel less and less OK in them as time goes on, because they seem to feel more and more youthful!
