If it fit, sure.

However, with my bust and hips, they rarely fit.

Only one way for you tom know for sure if it fits you. What is their return policy?

Sure! They tend to fit me well, though I don't usually care for a bottom-banded sweater and men's sweaters usually have that feature.

I still love the oversized-sweater look over slim jeans, so I would say yes, especially on days when your hair and makeup are extra feminine. Add some girly jewelry (but not delicate--I mean signature pieces) and it'll be super stunning.

If it fit, yep. But as a small gal, they rarely do. I would be surprised if this one fit you in any way other than something seriously oversized unless they run realllyyyyy small

i have worn men's sweaters often. I started doing it young when in my twenties I would steal my brother's and make him super angry (which was great incentive).

I have a cashmere turtleneck sweater from the 70's that my great grandfather bought for my father. He hated turtlenecks. My mom nabbed it. I found it in a cedar chest after she died. I washed it and had it repaired and now I wear it.

Yay.

I actually own a men's sweater....a black cashmere turtleneck hand-me-down from my husband. He wore it years ago when he was very skinny (he is still slim) and it has shrunk in the wash. Apart from the sleeve length it fits me surprisingly well and is such good quality I could never find another like it.

It is tough to find a good fit in a men's sweater, though, particularly sleeves.

I've bought them in the past and they're always very boxy. I think it's going to depend on the fit and how you're planning to style it.

Yay. I used to have the most lushous man's cashmere V neck from a thrift store. It was the best quality cashmere ever. After losing weight, I gave it to my sister and hope she is enjoying it.
Anyway, one might find great quality for less.
ETA: You could never look masculine in that sweater or anything else!

Yay! I would definitely buy a man's sweater if it fit me right. Knits are much more forgiving than wovens. I could see myself wearing a man's sweater with a semi tuck and sleeves scrunched.

Actually I pulled out one ofmy hubby's last wek and wore it to work over a button down. What I discovered is that it is too tight for me in the hips - keeps riding up - but sizing up is impossibl - it was already big on top.
Maybe it would work for me if the sweater does not have a band on the bottom...
So yes, the fit is the key here for sure...

No, but only because they never, ever fit me. If I was a tall gal, I'd be all over the men's stuff. I'm always looking longingly at the men's sections because the colours really appeal to me: lots of navy, gray, subtle rich burgundies and greens....then I look over at the women's, and it's all pink, purple, patterned and bright! Not my style at all.

I love that sweater you posted, and I'm a huge sucker for brown elbow patches, but I suspect, with your tiny frame, that the sweater ain't gonna fit you. Keep in mind that the sweater will mask your waist completely. Perhaps if it's big enough, it will look drapey and good over skinnies, but then there's the issue of the elbow patches hitting you halfway down your forearm...

If the fit is right, why not? I have a men's knit sweater that's oversized on me that I like to wear for casual days at home. The only problem I see with this sweater is that the sleeves will probably be too long (they always are on me) and then the elbow patches might end up somewhere on your forearm.

Little Zap buys grandpa cardis from the men's section, so yes, I've seen it done by the wackadoodle here. I am too neat and feminine looking for any androgynous or grunge look to look "legit" on me, but heck, don't you buy boys shirts already? I'd say go for it.

Yes, I have. I fell in love with a grey argyle wool sweater at Macy's and bought the smallest size available. I ran it through the washer and dryer to shrink it a bit, but it's still a bit boxy on me. I happily wear it for casual weekend looks.

This was quite a few years ago, before argyle became more popular for women. I have a weakness for argyle and just couldn't resist! These days, I'd only buy a men's sweater if I wanted an oversized look...

I've tried a few on Rita, because I'm small busted and have broad shoulders but they still don't fit right. The sleeves are always SUPER long, even on long-armed me. But you might have luck with a sweater from the boys department. I'm remembering your Target gingham shirt. I've heard some fashion writers praise Brooks Brothers' boys sections, specifically for sweaters and tux separates.
