I find slightly fitted jacket/coat styles generally the more flattering. However, the dressier look of the first one would be harder to wear nowadays because life is so casual.</p> <p>For me, if both fit well, I'd prefer #1 if I could only have one. It would look better over a dressier outfit as well as jeans.</p> <p>Not too helpful, sorry to say. The first one is dressier and the second one is very casual. You should get both or the style you will wear more often.
