The executive director was dressed in a suit (minus the tie)- as he usually is. If you're doing any business to business (including nonprofits) outreach, I'd definitely err on the side of buisiness casual at minimum. </p> <p>I figure I'm not just representing the organization but myself as a professional- and potentially the places I talk to could be future employers. I mean, we have street outreach teams- they wear jeans and sneakers and the organizations branded tee shirts. She has worked here since before COVID, so she should know what the dresscode actually means. She said that the business casual dresscode doesn't really apply, and that people always dressed casually like they do now. She said that I am fine in what I wear now, and not to worry about it, which was nice to hear. </p>
