Natalie, Thank you so much for posting! I am not impressed with the white pair. They totally look like sweats. Maybe if there was a darker version.

I don't know if these would be work appropriate, these look a lot like classic grey sweatpants from the waist down due to the color and cuffs. I tried the white pair and had the same reaction--it looked too much like dirty white sweats. But it's certainly worth a try...I think you'd want to see the fabric up close.
http://goldenpig.lookfab.com/p.....jama-jeans

They look cool. I like the combination of structure and sporty in the pants. But I agree that you need to see what the fabric's like in person

Hmm, I'm not sure about for work. In particular since I know you work with college students and are teeny-tiny, I might be worried if I were you about appearing too student-like. But it's possible they could work with a blazer and heels. I think it might be one of those things that you have to see in person to assess how much like sweats the fabric actually is.

That said, I think these are really awesome. The other PJ jeans didn't appeal to me, but for some reason I really like these. I'm totally going to stalk them.

If they were a darker color, say a charcoal, I think they would read a little less sweatpant casual. But the structured waist helps offset that effect, so they may be worth trying. They are really cute.

You know - I wear my cargo style J Brand aviator trousers to work. They are supposed to be cropped but of course on me, are full length. I add a heel and a blazer and I'm ok and my office would be more conservative than yours.

My office can be somewhat casual since I work at a university, but yeah... I would need to pair them with something more structured and classic. They would be full length on me.

From a distance, this could pass as pants - add a bit of a heel and a blazer, and it could look great for work. But I suspect the fabric IRL would read too casual for most offices. It would greatly depend on the environmental norm in your work place.

So I'm still looking for some new to me style pants for work. I mostly wear skinnies and have one pair of bootlegs suiting pants for winter. This summer I got a pair of cropped harem pants. They have been a fun diversion but they are not going to last past the summer for a variety of reasons. The shape changed slightly in the wash, the tee shirt fabric is not going to last forever and they are a summer-only cropped length.

I've seen a few people model the destroyed R&B pajama jeans here. They look really cool but obviously not work appropriate.

What do you think about these gray pajama jeans? Has anyone seen them IRL? Do they look like pants, or sweats? And could I wear them to work?
