I have been asking fir a new one to reolace it for a couple of years and I am so glad to have one. The design is nice- not too heavy and a well designed handle. It has the option of battery use or plug in. I plugged mine in, and I like that option. The motor seems powerful enough to do a good job, and it comes with some tools and a carry bag. It did a great job on my knit gloves (which get a lot of wear at work). I posted a pic of them before and after. I'm very pleased with this gift, and I know that I will get a lot of use out of it. I wish the lint trap was a little bigger, but that's my only complaint. </p>
