I have been up 2 pounds consistently during every weigh in during TTOTM, so it surprised me. I thought the most I could hope for is that I stayed the same, so losing is huge.

Maya, I've actually noticed that I always drop weight during that time. I feel bloated and all but the scale is a different story. Good for you!

Ok, I know this was buried all the way on page three and I know it's well past 5/31...but I was so excited I had to bring it back up!

Despite what I said earlier about no more weighing in during TTOTM, today I couldn't resist stepping on the scale...and I'm a pound down! YAY! Only 3 more to go!

I'm down another 1.5 pounds this week! Yay. Reaching an all new low, which is pretty fantastic.
I'm working hard and really fine tuning my diet. The closer I get to my goal, the more I realize how important the diet side of weight loss really is. It's to the point where I can work out two hours a day and eat with no restrictions and not lose weight.
That means I'm close!

I've lost nothing, but I'm working out - and I'm a size down. Now I'm EU 42 (US 12). Still much to lose.

I am down yet another pound! So bizarre, as I'm not trying.

Two more pounds to reach my ideal weight, but right now I'm within range and quite content. I am back to wearing everything in my closet, things I was unable to wear last summer, which is saving me money because there's really no need to shop for more.

Only problem is a few pairs of pants (including the cute Inc cropped pants) I bought in anticipation of summer are too loose now. I can get away with them as long as I wear a belt. I am needing belts to hold up my ponte knit pants, but not too concerned about that, as it's getting too warm for them anyway.

I had a regular checkup last week and mentioned the weight loss to my doctor - he is not concerned about it. Says that fluctuating estrogen, now that I'm nearing 45, can explain a lot of the pesky symptoms I've been having, including weight loss. I guess we normally assume you gain weight with menopause. But during perimenopause estrogen fluctuates wildly? Whatever - I'll take it!

I don't even bother weighing in during TTOTM. I know I'll be up 2 pounds..."like a coconut." I'll probably check in again next week.

Khris, I actually couldn't believe I was hearing a new idea after so many years of "dieting." So realistic and it just makes sense because you are planning in a way that sets you up for more success instead of setting yourself up to "fail." You still have to watch what you're eating, but it's a much healthier approach to vacation! So great that you did that for yourself.

Thank Rosie My plan was just to stay at whatever weight I was at the time of my first fitting (which will be in August), regardless of whether it was my "goal" or not. But now it shouldn't be an issue.

I attended a WW meeting a while back with a fantastic leader. He actually had a lot of great tips for holiday season planning, but the relevant thing here is he suggested almost planning how much you'll allow yourself to gain. Basically, giving yourself permission to gain a couple pounds and then get back to it. It sounds like you are ok with the gain given the trip and the time of month, which is great. I had just never heard anyone be so realistic about these things!

I haven't weighed myself recently but am starting the week with a bunch of good food and an exercise schedule. I also have thought about my social events of the week and am planning for some of the special meals.

Well, between that time of the month and my weekend away I am up a bit. Not a surprise, and not a big deal, but it's time to get back to business.
How is everyone else doing?
