Since September 2009 I officially hit maintenance--yay! I continue to lose very very slowly. I'm pretty active on another board that is exclusive to weight loss. And yes, many people will see no change on the scale but will lose inches before the scale drops. Many of my clothes (what little I had) that I wore last summer & fall are now too big. I'm altering what I think is salvageable. My scale had me firmly within my "range" this morning--I'm a daily weigher.

I'm down one pound. I glad, a pound is a pound, I see everyone at the Gim doing crazy stuff to get slimmer for the beach, but I'm not even there! I want to be healthier and don't mind loosing weight so slowly.

I'm down about 2kg - very slow going, but maybe something is happening. (Although the cake I am currently eating certainly won't help.) Srujana, I will also be having a few weeks of alone time (well, once the kids are in bed) and I plan to use it the same way as you!

I finally got around to buying a couple of scales, but from an online shop where I could use cash points, so it hasn't arrived yet, but I'm excited! I'm keeping a food diary though, and I try to watch what I eat, so it feels like I'm doing ok. I haven't been working out as much as I should, though. However I like to think of this as a change of lifestyle and eating habits rather than a diet. Having been a yoyo dieter for years, I'm trying hard not to fall into that trap again.

Thanks for all the inspiration and motivation ladies. And oh, keep up the good work!!

I'm down another 1-2 lbs. The lady at the Indian grocery store asked me if I had lost about 12-15 lbs, LOL, the surprise on my face really confused her. How could you not know if you lost 15 lbs - she must have been thinking. DH has been in India the last 3 weeks on business and we "webcammed" the other night. He mentioned my face looked a lot thinner - couldn't see much else of me anyways Some clothes are fitting better. All skirts are requiring compulsory belting. Feels good My eating and activities are much better regulated when I'm by myself, which is how it was when I was single. No junk food in the house, no random munching etc. I am very, very determined to keep it this way even when DH comes home.

Cheering you all on in your efforts. I lost a pound or more probably due to horrible spring allergies and not being able to taste anything. Food has lost its appeal unless it's freezing cold to numb a sore itchy throat. Frozen blueberries are new best friend.

Srjuana- yes, I am often told that I look slimmer when the scale and clothing isn't budging. Have you read Maya's recent threads about her frustration with the scale showing a loss and not being able to see it? Well, it finally caught up and then her measurements changed. I think this is actually very common that weight/ clothing/measurements and how you look don't all change at the same time. I know that I have seen a tightening up of things lately that are not reflected by the scale or clothing, but I also know that eventually those things will change as well.

I've not been on track at all with eating or working out. There's been too much going on in life that just makes facing each day an effort. The scale shows me the same number but multiple people have told me that I look like I've lost a significant amount of weight. 15lbs seems to be the general consensus, though I keep reiterating that I haven't lost anything. Has this happened to any of you? Do you get told that you look significantly slimmer, though your clothes and your scale tell you that you haven't?

Good news is that the boy leaves for Canada for 7 weeks next Wednesday...and I'm going to use my new-found alone time to get my body back in gear =)

Good luck to everyone else....you guys continue to inspire me to get moving!

I finally got back on track last week and weighed myself today... and I'm okay with the number. I think I had gained some weight while I was at home at CA and I know I lost it this past week (although I have no idea how much that was). I'm back to my "low" weight now so this is a good re-starting point! I'm feeling pretty good and motivated right now.

I actually can't complain. I didn't weigh myself for the last two weeks due to sheer cowardice. I overate and couldn't face the scale. But last week I was much, much more disciplined and my weight hasn't changed one bit from the last time I checked in. I'm ok with that; I'm positive I gained the past two weeks then shed the pounds again last week. But I really do need another solid loss this week to feel like I'm m aking progress. Right now I feel I've lost all momentum.

Well, it's weigh in day again. I'm actually up two pounds from last week. I'm not sure exactly why, but I'm not going to worry about it too much since that's the highest my weight has been all week. We had a busy week and I stopped tracking my food and never got back to it, but despite that I was doing ok. I've gone back to the gym and am doing Yoga twice a week, so that is good.
How is everyone else doing?
