Harry Potter is among my favourite comfort reading too.  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-smile icon-emoticon-smile "></span>  If you don't let me know next time you're in Toronto so we can meet up, I'll be very upset. :p And btw it sure was Winterlicious, and my friends took me out to a middle eastern place on my birthday. It was the third of three winterlicious stops over a one-week stretch and I still lost! Huzza! Love that festival. Feel better!&#060;/p&#062;

I have to admit, though, I'd probably go out of my mind if I was forced to consume as little food as you! I think I'm probably only having 150-200 more calories per day at this point, but it makes such a huge difference!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Way to go M and M! You are both an inspiration. Maya, I *love* your sense of humor. I am feeling rather proud of myself. My total weightloss goal is about 18 pounds. But my biggest goal is to be able to do it a pace that I can sustain. I love to eat and want it to be realistic. I really don't want to eat sawdust the rest of my life. I have lost a total of 8 lbs so far and am feeling incredible. I know what you mean about being able to fit into clothes that didn't work before. Now I just need to also look good in them. I'm giving myself another month and hope to post pictures in the old &#034;thin&#034; clothes. The thing however that I feel the most proud of is that I was able to keep my weight down to the same weight more or less for 3 days straight. this doesn't usually happen to me. Lastly, does anyone weight themselves before and after working out? I have lately been noticing a half pound difference! It seems to vanish over the course of the day but makes me feel good about exercising nonetheless.

Michelle, I think it's great that you managed to lose during your birthday week, and wasn't it Winterlicious too? Yum. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Maya, 4 pounds is amazing, considering how little (comparatively) you have to lose! &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Ok, I'm going to be the first to admit that I haven't moved an OUNCE since last week. Nada. I still haven't got over my virus and for the last 8 days have been a puking, sweating, snotty, coughy, phlegm-y mess. Sorry for the visual, but it's true! I haven't had the engery to leave the house aside from work, so mainly I've been lying on the couch, reading Harry Potter and um, &#034;soothing&#034; my sore throat with bowls of ice-cream. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Geesh, no wonder I haven't lost any weight! I'm feeling up to cooking today, so will make a healthy soup for lunch, and maybe take a walk in the afternoon if the weather permits.

&#060;p&#062;I am down a few pounds from the high point last weekend  (ie 10 days ago)- that was obviously TTOM weight as it came off in a couple of days. Not being very disciplined however - no exercise since my weekend of races, first I was resting, then all my clothes were in the wash, then I got a sore throat!! excuses, excuses!&#060;br /&#062;
My eating was largely derailed by a large consumption of cornflakes last week. I am feeling pretty positive about my body, however, and have worked out my next exercise goal.

Not much to report on my end. Last time reported a weigh in it was TTOM so I was hoping for a drop this week but nothing so far. My clothes fit a teeny bit roomier or it is probably all my imagination. I'm also very motivated, I will only be weighted on the 1st of March at the gym (they weight and measure us once a month), I have not weighted myself because I don't want to be too anxious but my clothes are getting bigger! 				<description>&#060;p&#062;Woohoo go Michelle and Marianna! You guys are doing great. It must be wonderful to finally FEEL the loss.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I had a cupcake, 2 scones with butter, several little sandwiches with cheese AND cream cheese, and a couple of petits fours yesterday. But other than that (ha...), all I had was a bowl of edamame that I shared with a friend. I was just too full to eat much else. The nice thing about the RTR was that everything was very small, as it should be. Some tea places give you HUGE scones with HUGE sandwiches and HUGE desserts. Even the cupcake was tiny. I'm not too worried. Even if it ended up being 1000 calories, I still had 400 left and my edamame was certainly not 400 calories. Angie and I also did quite a bit of walking (and don't underestimate how much work shopping is...).&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;When I got home yesterday I was down 4 pounds from when I first began! I think that first weigh-in must have just been a fluke. Well, in any case, it is the least I have weighed in a while.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;After eating a huge meal for Valentine's Day last night, I think I'm going to go Khris' route and weigh-in tomorrow. I know I ate a lot of salt so I want to give myself a day to get that out of my system.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;BUT! I know I've lost more weight because I am fitting into clothes that used to be too small. I have a bag of &#034;too small jeans&#034; and I pulled out a pair of Banana Republic size 16 jeans and they FIT! And I wore them the other day and they were comfortable. How's that for success? (I know size 16 is still big, but it's great to be wearing clothes that used to be too small!)&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Oh, and I also started the Couch 2 5k running plan and it's going fabulously!

I'd be happy with this loss under ordinary circumstances, and considering it came at the end of birthday week, I'm positively triumphant! I'm down 19.6 pounds overall, and I'm very optimistic that I can crack the 20 pound mark next week. Corey had a solid week too, shedding 1.2 pounds and bringing his total to 17.6.
