I can definitely see the weight-loss results in your physical appearance Marianna, Michelle and Khris. Keep it up.

I just wanted to say that I'm incredibly impressed with each and everyone of you. You are all doing amazingly well, changing your lifestyle to incorporate eating more healthy and getting in a bit (or a lot) of exercise certainly isn't easy. But that's exactly what all of you are doing, despite life getting in the way sometimes;-)

Khris: I agree, you know your body so well, wow! Enjoy upping your calories, and hopefully the bra sizing problem will sort itself out in a little bit.

Michelle: Big congratulations on reaching your goal sooo soon! When exactly is your birthday?
Are you and Marianna walking "together" now?

Marianna: You've steadily been losing weight, and I think 0.8 lbs is great actually! Fluid retention can definitely work against you, uh huh;-) And I agree with your Mum, the weight loss has been noticeably in your latest pictures.

Sarah: LOL!! I don't even have to ask if the cookies and chocolate were yummy, I know they were;-) It's such a cliché, but the last pounds are the hardest, aren't they. I'm 100% convinced you'll get there though!!

I'm up a pound, but I know exactly why.
It's called homemade peanut butter cookies. :(
I worked out six days this week and ate clean five days. I had real German Chocolate on Saturday and my cookies on Sunday. Dessert and cheats aren't bad, but moderation is the key.
Sigh.
Hopefully after the sugars leave my body, I'll adjust back. With less amount of weight to lose than ever, I'm noticing how much harder it is. Every little thing contributes. Eek.

Well, I'm only down 0.8 lbs this week, for a total of 7.8 pounds lost in January.

I was expecting a bigger loss because this week my mother finally started noticing some weight loss. I think I may be retaining water... if you catch my drift. Hopefully next week my body will catch up.

But, a loss is a loss, so I guess I can't complain.

Michelle, I am SOOOOOOOOOO impressed. You are killing this competition. :)

Khris, good for you for being so self aware!

Michelle- that's awesome!

It really is just time. I've been scrutinizing my body/diet for a year and a half now, so I am quicker to see when adjustments need to be made.

Khris- you're doing great. I agree with Michelle, you have a great self-awareness and fine tuning your strategy will pay off. Also, you've been at this a long time so ups and downs are normal. You're still seeing overall loss, which is what you want!

Michelle, way to go! I"m so impressed. Keep up the good work

To my utter astonishment, I lost three pounds this week bringing me to a total of 15. I met that goal much earlier than expected, so my new goal is to get as close to 20 as possible by my birthday which is in just over two weeks (I'm thinking north of 18 would be reasonable).

Khris, I'm really impressed with your self-awareness and how well-atuned you are to your body. I bet your new strategy will bare fruit next week.

It's Monday again!
I am actually up a little less than a pound from last week. I have been really good about staying in my calorie range and getting in some exercise every day. I've been feeling hungry, and when I overate the last two days I lost weight, but gained it earlier in the week when I didn't. This is good news, because it means that I need to adjust my calorie range up again a little bit. I have to really watch this and make adjustments back and forth fairly often. I had kind of figured this was going on, but wanted to wait a full week to make sure.
Oh and I realized this week that the reason my new bra isn't fitting is that my underbust has shrunk by an inch and a half. Why do bra sizes not come in odds? That's what I really need.
How did everyone else do?
