&#060;p&#062;So sorry that you are sick Michelle! I can relate... I just started back at work last thursday, after 6 weeks off from back surgery. Then monday I fell violently ill from the stomach flu, yikes! I am finally back at work today and plan to hit the gym right after I leave the office.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;This will be my first reall (doctor approved) gym day since surgery, so I am keeping my goals very small (like, just show up and get on a machine), and I am looking forward to starting physical therapy tomorrow as well.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;As for weight, between post-surgical sickness and lack of appetite and then the flu, I am actually down 14 lbs in 5 weeks. Some of that will come back quickly I am sure as I rehydrate and get back to normal eating, but I hope to use it as a starting point.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Feel better soon, Michelle and Khris' DS.....I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I miss this round of cold/flu bug that's going around the office.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Work ran so late that I missed my gym class, but I made up for it with bellydance later. Have a show coming up in two weeks, so major practice is needed. =) Didn't have much of an appetite and ate pretty healthy...woke up early today to make a smoothie at home instead of my usual Starbuck's chai. Will weigh in tomorrow morning, but TOTM just started, so I'm expecting a bit of extra poundage on the scale...need to grocery shop and actually make some of the recipes that I've been hoarding for weeks...

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Yesterday was a great day for me. Bryan and I got the thumbs up from the doc to start working out.&#060;br /&#062;
We walked for two miles (briskly!). We got up this morning and did weight training. I opted out of the deadlifts and ab work because my injuries are in my low back to tailbone area. I'm being cautious, but boy, it feels great to be back. :)&#060;br /&#062;
My calories were down to 1200 and I was eating purposefully - no mindless snacking. Every calorie made sense and had a purpose. :)&#060;br /&#062;
I weighed today, so I can keep track of that.

&#060;p&#062;I did well yesterday, up to a point. Lots of exercise at work and mainly healthy options food-wise. I think I ruined it all in the evening, though. I made the most delicious curry for dinner and had seconds! It was a new recipe, so I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Perhaps something less addictive for dinner tonight ;)&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Gosh, we are fighting a cold/cough here too. Well, I am fighting it on DS's behalf.&#060;br /&#062;
I didn't get any cardio in yesterday, but I did my exercises (and I am sore- so I must have done a good job!), and I did ok on food/water. My weight is down a little bit today. I went grocery shopping last night, so now I have some more options which is always nice.&#060;br /&#062;
I hope everyone starts feeling better!

&#060;p&#062;I ended up strength training (squats, weights for the arms, crunches, etc.) at home Monday night, since I couldn't go for a run.  So it wasn't a loss. (Yay!) Tuesday I took my clothes with me to work and ran before I left and picked up my boys from the sitter's.  I plan to run again today providing we don't have a staff meeting after school.

I have absolutely no food in the apartment so I'm making do with what I do have... toast, brie, tea, apples, oatmeal... not a huge variety but I won't be able to go grocery shopping until tomorrow when I have some money. At least I'm staying within my calorie range!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I worked out yesterday and will go to the fitness center for at least 30 minutes today too.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Looks like I'm the first one in today, so thought I'd get the daily check-in thread rolling. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;My major accomplishment yesterday was not to die of plague.  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-smile icon-emoticon-smile "></span>  The flu raged on all day, resulting in me eating very little and moving less (bowl of oatmeal with blueberries mid-day, bowl of chicken and rice soup + slice of toast in the evening, massive amounts of fluids all day and that's it).  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-smile icon-emoticon-smile "></span>  I'm feeling marginally less feeble today, but I'm still off work in hopes of shaking this thing off. I intend to eat more than yesterday in order to get strength back,but exercise isn't on the agenda beyond maybe a short walk for Reva's sake.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;How'd everyone else do?
