I think I want a puffer when it's really cold because when zipped up they keep the cold wind out better than wool does, but that's just my view. Hey whatever works! . These outfits are all so nice, especially love that burgundy bag. Tops that ride up are AWFUL, I've experienced that too. That skirt is a great party look. You definitely looked better IRL at the meetup than shown in these pics that are dark as you say.</p> <p>&nbsp;You should try to get another shot of your gorgeous FP jacket, or maybe try adjusting the color/light of the pics on your iphone before posting them. (If that's how you took them). The cut just does not work for me.&nbsp; It's in the donate pile now... <br />(Max&amp;Mia jacket, Michael Stars top, Joe's bootcuts, Pikolinos booties, Kenneth Cole coat, handknit scarf + hat, Via Spiga handbag)</p> <p>4-5: Pattern mixing with a handknit pullover over a striped tunic.&nbsp; With my Burberry coat, cashmere blanket scarf, and handknit accessories for outdoors.&nbsp; <br />(handknit pullover, hat, mittens, Nordstrom (one of the house brands) tunic, CoH skinnies, Frye boots, Burberry coat, MZ Wallace bag)</p> <p>6: Wore this for my husband's "holiday" party (last Friday).&nbsp; I went to work that day as well so needed something I could wear all day and commute in the cold in.&nbsp; Under the skirt, I have some heattech leggings, wool socks, and OTK boots, which turned out to be very warm! I wore the same outerwear as in #5 with it.<br />(Uniqlo sweater and leggings, Nanette Lepore skirt, CK boots, AT necklace, ??? wristlet).</p> <p>7: This is what I wore for the YLF meetup on Saturday.&nbsp; It's a terrible picture, and I think looked much better IRL.&nbsp; Anyway, this is the new Free People burgundy peplum jacket - I had the tailor add a buttonhole, although I'm not wearing it buttoned here.&nbsp; There's a picture of the outerwear in <a rel="nofollow" href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/snowy-boston-meet-up-january-7-2017">Chris' post about the meetup</a>, but it's basically just the grey burberry yet again.&nbsp; After tramping all about Newbury Street in the snow, I can say for sure that these suede Blondos are truly waterproof!&nbsp; <br />(Free People jacket, Soprano tunic, CoH skinnies, Blondo boots, MZ Wallace bag).</p> <p>8: Snapped a quick outerwear selfie this morning to show Angie how I keep warm without a puffer in 15ºF weather today!&nbsp; ;)&nbsp; Basically a lot of layers of wool - there's a big handknit wool pullover + a long sleeved tee under the coat, along with a big blanket scarf and handknit accessories.&nbsp; </p>
