The new Blondo work horses are Killer smashing - and Anthropologie can learn from your fun and creative combinations.&nbsp; </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiwx4-winter-handknits#post-1761592 Mon, 19 Dec 2016 21:57:17 +0000 Diana 1761592@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Winter is definitely here.&nbsp; But I don't really mind, as it's an excuse to wear lots of handknit sweaters!&nbsp; (Mostly pullovers, as I am definitely on Team Pullover!)&nbsp; Also, it's really obvious what my favorite color palette is here, haha.</p> <p>1: Handknit tunic layered under a knit blazer, with jeans and cognac lace up boots.<br />(handknit tunic, Caslon jacket, Vince skinnies, Miz Mooz boots, MZ Wallace bag which was used with of these outfits)</p> <p>2-3: A skirt outfit for a change.&nbsp; The teal houndstooth print mini was made by my mom ages ago and is wool with a flannel lining.&nbsp; <br />(handknit pullover, mom-made skirt, Gap leggings, Blondo boots)</p> <p>4-5: Colorwork sweater layered over a cowl neck tunic for a polar vortex day.&nbsp; The entire body of the sweater is stranded colorwork, which makes it super warm.&nbsp; <br />(handknit pullover, Soprano tunic, CoH jeans, Blondo boots, MZ Wallace bag)</p> <p>6-7: Another layered outfit for another polar vortex day (today).&nbsp; This is the handknit lace pullover that I finished recently - it's too cold right now to wear a holey lace sweater by itself but it's a nice layering piece under a blazer.&nbsp; <br />(handknit pullover, Gap blazer, Halogen tank, Joe's plaid pants, Blondo boots, MZ Wallace bag)</p> <p>8: A FFBO of handknit sweater dress over skinnies that I know you've seen before, but I took a picture of it with my coat because I liked the teal-burgundy combination.&nbsp; <br />(handknit dress, CoH skinnies, Blondo boots, Kenneth Cole NY coat, ??? scarf). </p> <p>&nbsp;I just realized I am wearing the same boots in 4 out of the 5 outfits!&nbsp; They are the suede knee-high Blondos I bought earlier in the season (see the find below).&nbsp; Already workhorses, yay!&nbsp; I was a little worried at first about the shaft height - they are very tall, coming up to the bottom of my kneecap (and designed to be so, the back is shorter so you can bend your knees) but clearly it is not a problem for styling. Plus the tall shafts keep my legs warmer.&nbsp; =)</p> <p>Hope everybody is staying warm!&nbsp; </p>
