Especially in upscale malls. I have many a times felt like I was wearing rags compared to the people around me! Not any more :). Although the blouse is sheer, it works really well with a nude bra. I am not wearing a cami in this one. I can't wait to see your cold weather version (I have to copy )! About the bootcuts, I think they are a tad short. The shoes that I usually wear with it have been purged. I ended up wearing slightly higher heels. Ack. How fun I also have really similar windowpane pants, I'm going to have to copy that one. But with a jacket as our warm days are over *sniffle* #1 looks very sharp, and from your description of the event it seems spot on. Good thing the white blouse cleaned up with a soak; I think that the cleaner creamy blouse you ended up wearing contributes to the sharpness of that outfit (the ruffled one would give it a softer more romantic feel). I also quite like #3, though it's too bad it wasn't quite right for your needs. May I ask how that looks from the side? From the front it looks like you need slightly shorter heels with the flares. Since you have some pointy flats, you could also look into baby flares that are hemmed for flats (as long as the hem is juuuuuuust off the ground). Soak and rub! The top is as good as new ^_^</p> <p>3 - My version of Angie's bootcut with wrap top ensemble.  My wrap top needs a serious upgrade and I am on the look out for one.  For now this old one from New look will have to do  Baby Bootcut Jeans are from Next.  Ankle strap pumps completed the outfit.  No handbag since I didn't need one for the morning school run.</p> <p>ETA: I was so overheated in this outfit ... I couldn't wait to get home and strip off my clothes. I need to remember we are still at 100F and I shouldn't wear heels for school drop offs. I have to cross the football pitch.</p> <p>4 - I wore this to an upscale mall here.  People are usually dressed to their nines here.  So I had to live up to the reputation of the mall  I am wearing windowpane print pants (H&amp;M/old) with my pajama-esque top (Zara).  My white studded handbag (Steve Madden) and red pointy toed flats (Zara) completed the outfit.</p> <p>So how did I fare?  Thanks for looking as always.  All suggestions for improvement are welcome </p>
