It is also the first from me in response to Katerina's outerwear challenge, which is simpler - to try and rotate through one's outerwear.&nbsp; There are three outfits here, first one was worn two weeks ago, when the weather was still warm enough to go bare-legged with a dress.&nbsp; The other two are from this weekend, when it was significantly colder, as I assume you can tell from outerwear and scarves.</p> <p>On the theme of reds, most of these mix true red with burgundy, and there is a touch of pink here and there as well.<br />1) #1-3: The first outfit was based on a red dress which has color-blocked design with some burgundy and pink, that made my task pretty simple.&nbsp; &nbsp;I added lots of burgundy: suede moto, patent booties, leather cross-body bag.<br />2) #4-6: This one is basically mostly burgundy - tweed skirt, tall boots, puffer, with a bit of red - cashmere sweater and cross body bag. A scarf with those color ties everything together. (The find for puffer is in wrong color, black instead of burgundy).<br />3) #7-9:&nbsp; This one is a reverse of the previous one: lots of red - skinny pants, wool coat, bag, and some burgundy - turtleneck and patent loafers.&nbsp; &nbsp;I also added a&nbsp; blanket scarf with all the tones/shades of red.</p> <p>From the outerwear point of view:<br />1) The suede moto is pretty old (close to 10 years), and gets lots of wear, both as indoor topper and outerwear in milder weather,<br />2) The short puffer is 5-ish years old, and gets medium amount of wear, mostly with skirts/dresses, but occasionally with pants too.&nbsp;<br />3) The red coat is 3 years, old, and so far it was only worn a couple of times each year.&nbsp; I think it is due to&nbsp; two facts.&nbsp; One, it is lighter weight - boiled, unlined wool, so the window to wear it is not that long.&nbsp; Two, the color red is not something I often wear or naturally reach for, so I have to remind myself to wear it.</p> </p>
