Will comment on the other outfit after I have recovered from seeing the skirt.&nbsp; </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiwx2-summer-linen#post-1681972 Mon, 20 Jun 2016 15:39:22 +0000 Diana 1681972@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>A couple of recent WIWs featuring linen pieces.&nbsp; </p> <p>1-3: Gored trumpet midi skirts are one of my HEWIs and quite possibly my favorite shape of skirt ever.&nbsp; They are also nearly impossible to find, so I was thrilled to spot this one at J Crew; it's super well made, fits perfectly, and is the exact shape that I love.&nbsp; It also comes in white and navy; I must admit I'm kind of tempted to buy it in white as well.&nbsp; It's slightly heavy for summer but I think that's a good thing because it can be a three season skirt. </p> <p>I wore it for father's day brunch this sunday with a silky printed high-low top, skinny belt, and gold sandals.&nbsp;&nbsp; Loved this, although I think I would have preferred my gold bag to the white one.</p> <p>(J Crew skirt, Tulle blouse, AT belt, Born sandals, Halogen bag).</p> <p>4-5: Another J Crew linen item, this time my navy trousers which are a couple of years old.&nbsp; (They are the same style as my orange ones, but for some reason the navy feels slightly smaller and narrower.)&nbsp; I liked this combo with the handknit cobalt batwing sweater a lot, although I think maybe the white tank underneath was too bright and next time I'd probably sub my beige tank instead.&nbsp; What do you think?&nbsp; </p> <p>(handknit sweater, Halogen tank, J Crew pants, Dansko sandals, Kate Spade bag). </p>
