Simple perhaps, but boring no. #1 looks so breezy and comfy, though I can see how you wouldn't feel quite as fab due to it being low contrast. Perhaps a similar dress in a lighter shade or a brighter color would make you feel happier. The black does look good though, and having the print does help to break it up a bit. #2 is spunky and fun! I hear you on the earrings, I wear them every day as well. DS2 is still all upset when&nbsp;going to school&nbsp;and today they had to literally pull him off me while he was clinging to my legs and clothes &nbsp;Oh boy ... can't wait to see him happily wave good bye to me.</p> <p>Here are my outfits from the yesterday and this morning. &nbsp;The weather is still peaking 100F mid day. &nbsp;Although this morning was much cooler than yesterday! &nbsp;I am not complaining at all!</p> <p>1 - Easy breezy embroidered black and white&nbsp;dress (F&amp;F) with my slip on sneaks (Steve Madden). &nbsp;These sneaks are clearly workhorses for me. <br />&nbsp;Comfortable and fun! &nbsp;Striped clutch completed the outfit (no brand/old).</p> <p>2 - Today I wore my Gap linen pants with a polka dotted shell top (F&amp;F/old) and my cap toed ballet flats (Ecoflex/old). &nbsp;I reach for these flats so many times that I am not sure why I tried to donate them. &nbsp;Yes they are a bit worn out, but the leather is super soft and oh so comfy! &nbsp;I am going to wear them until the bottom develops a hole LOL! &nbsp;Meanwhile I am desperately searching for a look alike. &nbsp;The&nbsp;striped clutch yet again&nbsp;for my phone and wallet and a white skinny belt to add some structure. &nbsp;I also threw on some sparkly blue earrings. &nbsp;I think earrings make&nbsp;my face pop and I am trying to include them in all my outfits (even if you mostly can't see them, I am almost always wearing faux pearl studs with every outfit). &nbsp;</p> <p>3 - Close up of the earrings.</p> <p>So how did I fare? &nbsp;The first outfit felt very simple .... almost boring&nbsp;to me. &nbsp;I am also not a huge fan of all black on myself. &nbsp;I was happier with the second probably because I really love those linen pants plus it is a high contrast outfit with my favorite colors.&nbsp; Thanks for looking as always and all suggestions for improvement are absolutely welcome </p>
