Yes, I think the bell sleeve top needs to go back and I'll find a better one. This is a fit issue I have a lot with tops, and with solid tops adding small darts at the neckline is an easy fix but with prints and especially stripes it can ruin&nbsp;the look. And....that&nbsp;is a <b>great</b> question about the shoes. They are moderately comfortable for wearing around the house but not great otherwise. Your question makes me wonder if I'm "settling for less than great" because of the low price. I think it might be better to hold out for something a little more comfortable that I will want to wear more often. Your recent posting on waiting 4 years to find the right gold gladiator sandals was a great lesson and inspiration. I’ve been doing some shopping, including a super-successful visit to a thrift store a few weeks ago. Most of what I got there was what I consider casual classic basics. I’ve also been focusing on shoes and building outfits from the ground up. Everything except the Inc jeans and the scarf are new to me. </p> <p>&nbsp;* = thrifted</p> <p>1 - *black/white striped long sleeved top (Banana Republic), Inc jeans, ED sneakers<br />2 - …same outfit with *black silk embroidered cardigan (Ann Taylor). A little pattern mixing, although I’d probably wear this with a dressier outfit. For fun I’m showing the top pic that inspired this sweater.<br />3 - Grey wrap top (BanRep), INC jeans, white/grey sneakers (Sam Edelman) <br />4 - Black/White bell sleeved top, *WHBM jeans, Red ankle strap flats (Zara). I’m still a little unsure about the fit of this top…it bunches a little at the neckline. I could take a couple of tiny darts at the neckline but it might not work so well with stripe placement.
