Too bad the ceremony had to be indoors instead of on the lake as planned, but NO MOSQUITOES!! The campground was huge, with B&amp;G and a few of the guests staying there in their RVs. . </p> <p>Pic #1&nbsp;is a group shot of high school friends of the groom. Lots of clowning around so the photo is not very well "posed". I'm in the front row second from the left in the darker dress and black sweater. B&amp;G are in matching white embroidered outfits slightly to the left of the middle of the photo. </p> <p>#2 is DH and me. </p> <p>The Hawaiian theme was chosen by B&amp;G because they had planned to honeymoon there, but they decided to go to the Dominican Republic instead. It made a GREAT theme for a party, very festive, and lots of color. The food too....a roast pig and rice pilaf with pineapple among other goodies.&nbsp; I wore some simple red beads, and they handed out leis as party favors so plenty of "bling". </p> <p>Sisi yeah, many insects live in LOTS of places on planet earth. Fun to know that mosquitoes are common in Northern Italy too. </p> <p>JuniperGreen I did get my shoes a little bit wet when I had to go fetch DH to get him to move&nbsp;our car so someone else could leave. I use peppermint oil and orange oil as my own mosquito repellent. Seems pretty effective and smells good too. The theme is Hawaiian and/or casual. The unofficial Maine state&nbsp;bird (mosquito) will no doubt be present even though not invited :-).&nbsp;The groom is a high school friend who’s&nbsp;first wife of many years died from cancer a few years ago and we’re all very&nbsp;glad to see him find love again.&nbsp;I do not have any clothes&nbsp;with a&nbsp;Hawaiian theme, so I had planned to wear my&nbsp;bright red floral blouse, white jeans, and blue suede sandals (finds below), although I was&nbsp;wishing I had&nbsp;succeeded in my search for a&nbsp;suitable dress.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p> <p>Today I was in a Sears (leave no retail stone unturned) and found a perfect dress! It’s a poly knit that might be too warm to wear on a<br /> really hot day, but it will be perfect for mid-June in Maine. Found a<br /> sweater/topper too.&nbsp;I will go with the&nbsp;same blue suede sandals and a white bag. </p> <p>DH is planning wear the Hawaiian shirt he bought in a thrift store we visited a few years ago when we were on Maui. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
