It's not that the purple isn't dark enough - it's just that the neckline, combined with arms, combined with your hair/face makes the top and bottom unbalanced. If you are wearing that skirt, a button down all buttoned up, a jacket, and those black boots, you will be rockin'! (Come winter, I mean). No worries there. </p> <p>It does get us back to the whole "sweet spot" for high boots and skirts question though, doesn't it. I think this varies from person to person and skirt style to skirt style. I, personally, like the skirt EITHER to show some kneecap-in-hose (or not in hose) OR to show none at all. Where I get all uncomfortable is if the top of the boot just hits the bottom of the skirt. It just feels odd on me and the proportions look off.
