I hope we are warm enough for some of the many light parades in early December. The grandchildren will be in one with their preschool. They take place after dark because of the lights and it gets COLD. The weather was perfect for today’s Christmas Parade - crisply cold, but sunny. We walked into town, and then stood around for an hour+ while a parade heavy with marching bands wound through the main streets of town. DH got cold standing around, but not me! The new puffer was light, easy to move in, and warm. Furthermore, I didn’t overheat during the walking parts. The new boots (with wool socks) were comfortable and warm. Happiness factor = 10!</p> <p>#1 blue puffer - Lands’ End (2019)<br /> Red flannel shirt - Levi’s (2018)<br /> White jeans - Lauren Ralph Lauren (2018)<br /> Black leather combat boots - Denver Hayes/MWWH (2019)<br /> Socks - Smartwool (2017)<br /> Red leather cross body bag - Danier (2019)<br /> Black gloves - Winners (2015)<br /> Red wool beret - Parkhurst (2017)</p> <p>#2+3 just 2 of the many marching bands. Some came from communities as far as a 3-4 hour drive. Some were high school and community bands, but there were some made up entirely of grey haired folks!</p> <p>#4 ‘THE MAN’ - who I thought looked pretty good in retro! </p>
