Awww .. Thank you lovely ladies for all your comments and for the K Angie! That outfit in 1 was a fluke :D. In fact I changed into my two toned ballet flats for the afternoon school run!

I am so glad my wardrobe didn't let me down .... I have never been happier with my closet :). And of course YLF and Angie have to be thanked for it! In similar situations three years back.... I was wearing ill fitting formal baggy pants and shapeless tops with thong type sandals.

DS seems to be better than ever :). Finally breathing through his nose! And much easier breathing ... Unlike the labored grunting before. This time, I am very positive and hopeful that he will be fine and won't need any more medications. Upwards and onwards

The animal print is very subtle and the mix works well. I like all of your outfits. I always like all of your outfits. :)

You are the mistress of the print mix! And I love all your remixes... Seeing constantly new clothes starts to make me feel anxious. Focus on what's important in life & have some fun with your clothes. xo

Yep .... All in one outfit! And no ...... I didn't intend to do that. LOL! I wore it today for morning school run and then a breakfast impromptu *date* with DH I hope I didn't look like an eye sore!

Then I recreated a few other outfits from the past few weeks when I was MIA here. I had some time for myself this morning After almost 3 weeks. Heaven!

1 - The mad pattern mixed outfit! I am wearing plaid ponte pants from Mango (last winter), black tunic top (H&M/last summer), animal print flats (Zara/last summer) and my striped clutch (no brand/old) which you have seen so many times! Still at 90F here, so I was comfy in this outfit.

2 - Worn over the weekend for breakfast with family. I am wearing my favorite BFs (F&F/this summer purchase), v-neck tee (Zara/this summer), gray suede oxfords (Zara/thrifted/old), white handbag (Steve Madden/old). White skinny belt for some structure and a big roll (MsMary style) on the BFs completed the outfit.

3 - Worn to the doctor's for follow up check up for DS2 the day before. Good news is his pneumonia has cleared (confirmed by an XRay) and bad news is he still has some congestion in his chest for which he is on antibiotics yet again I am scared of all the bad things that the antibiotics and radiation are doing to the poor guy's body. I wish I had an option I just want him to bounce back to normal life. Comfortable linen pants (F&F), silky tee (local brand) and sandals for a hectic day.

4 - Worn to the doctors (2 weeks back) for DS2. I had no time whatsoever to think and I just threw this on. BFs (F&F) and cut out tunic top (Next/old) with my comfy mocs (Patricia Green/newish) and studded tote (Steve Madden/old).

5 - Worn to the petting zoo with the DSs. After DS2's IV sessions, I had promised him a day at the zoo with his friends. I had to be comfy and had to walk miles with two kids. So relaxed drawstring pants (Mango/new), zipper front top (F&F/newish), pewter loafers (no name brand/old) and cloth sequined *love* tote (Aeropostale/old) for comfort. The evening was a bit sweaty .... but I was comfortable overall.

6 - Worn to the doctors (two weeks back) for DS2. BF skinny jeans (Levis/newish), floral cold shoulder top (local brand/newish) with my trusty pewter loafers and studded tote (Steve Madden) to lug things around.

That's as exciting as it gets in this girl's life .... *Sigh* I know these outfits are not special .... but we are talking dressing for the real life right? :) Loads of repeats and things that you have already seen. And if that's not enough .... I would be only posting repeats for the next few months. So please bear with me! We are at an unexpected shaky financial stage and I am gearing up for the worst in the next few months. I might still do some emotional shopping (I know I would go into depression if I stopped shopping completely!) .... but mostly steals and deals. Thanks for looking and listening and please feel free to give suggestions on the outfits! Have a nice day you all! x
