I did plan to keep wearing my scarves anyway because I just love the boost of prints and colors and something soft and drapey, but it's nice to hear they aren't terribly dated even if no longer trendy. It gets too hot here to wear them except about November through March...and this year even less than that..I guess I never get time to get tired of them. Luckily, as you know, I have a massive jewelry collection too, so that comes out for most of the year.</p> <p>For the "shyness", it isn't really about worrying what you all will say. This is the kindest place ever. I think I've just become privacy concerned again. When I joined I thought I would never post pictures, but eventually I realized how much help I needed and that I couldn't get it without pictures. So once I got posting, I became more comfortable with the whole pictures online thing since I felt so comfy here. I think the point those worries started coming back was when someone said on another post that she had been a member for 4 years so she could see our pictures, but that thread was her first post. It startled me (yes, I know it shouldn't have, I'm naive), the idea that there are multitudes more looking than I actually "know". I'm quite comfortable with all of you here who feel like friends, but I'm a bit less comfortable with idea of who knows how many unknowns are out there! Okay, that's the long version of my renewed shyness. It explains why I've been posting fewer pictures and how long it took me to decide to post these. But also, when I do see the rare scarf pic, I think the more common way is wrapped all around the neck, and for me I still like the vertical ends better...I don't like a pile of stuff around my neck. So I may be doubley dated, wearing a passé trend in a passé way. I still like them.</p> <p>Anyway, here are some recent days. &nbsp;</p> <p>1) Old scarf, new sweater...I was so happy to see the colors being an exact match.<br />2) My NAS HEWI scarf, grey leopard.<br />3 and 4) Not scarf! Watermelon Tourmaline, made by my jeweler friend<br />5 and 6) Another not scarf, just layered necklaces...ooo trendy. :)<br />7 and 8) Another old scarf, new sweater happy match<br />9 and 10) New sweater I bought, scarf was a gift. And my little joke, it's not a hashtag it's a sharp sign!</p> <p>11) The blood moon scarf from Shadowplay NYC. I love these space prints!</p> <p>Thanks for looking! Feeling all shy again, the pics will probably be removed when the thread is done. But one thing I'm happy about...I think my hair is recovering from the horrible allergy incident. I think you can tell me if you feel the scarf look is dated, but I might not listen!</p>
