It’s been a terrific week. We have much to celebrate, as we also sold the Texas ranch. This is a big load off of hubs’ shoulders. </p> <p>My husband decided to take a page from some friends of ours (ironically a Texas couple, and we will miss them!), and rather than celebrate for just a day, have BIRTHDAY WEEK! I have barely cooked this week. I’m so spoiled. I was a little worried about these pants fitting, but they did! </p> <p>Roxanna, thank you. It’s slow indeed. I’m not depriving myself but being mindful. I actually own a scale now for the first time in over 20 years. Just to keep me on track. Once a week! I am keeping an eye on blood pressure and general health markers. I do not carry extra weight well — I have a rather small frame for my height and it’s deceptive how some people can be quite healthy at a weight that doesn’t work well for me.
