I started getting noticable white hairs around 50 and started colouring it as close to copper penny red as possible. However, chlorinated pool water and frequent showers (due to fitness routine) plus the fugitive nature of red dye resulted in some very bad hair days! I stopped colouring summer 2014 and had the last of the coloured hair cut off summer of 2015. I have some red hair, but so much white that my hair reads as 'sandy'. It looks especially 'blonde' when blown straight, but streaky when I let it curl naturally (see pics below #1 and #2). In all my searches for inspiration on how a redhead would go grey, I've only found one actual photo. (#3)</p> <p>Shevia - no worries! Last cut was in April and I never wore it straight a single day from that cut until today.
