Especially when you wear a lot of black and grey. I’ve actually put together a few outfits with those boots that had a bit of a cowgirl vibe. I bought a pair of lavender tights to wear with the denim jacket/blue dress outfit that matched the flower print perfectly. That was my first time wearing a headscarf and it took me a few tries to get it just right, but there are so many ways of tying and folding it, you can create endless styles. I was a bit insecure at first but one of my best friends recently started chemotherapy for breast cancer and decided to shave her head completely as soon as her hair starting falling out. Meanwhile I’m somewhere between a short bob and a pixie, but I’ve always had very dense and relatively long hair, so this was a big change for me. When I found out my friend was going to start chemo, I decided to chop it all off and even offered to shave it along with her, but she wasn’t quite ready for that step yet… this was about a month ago. </p> <p>As for the boots, I do love them but they are totally out of place here and I was completely aware of that fact when I took the photo. I just wanted some extra height to pose.
