My most worn striped tops are a tie between a thrifted navy and white linen knit with a banded bottom and a navy/white Lands End rash guard from the swimming section. It has long sleeves and is probably polyester but not hot. It looks neat all day and travels well. I wear it as a regular top and one size up for a looser fit. One can only be outside the home for groceries or exercise, and you can be stopped by police and questioned as to why you are out and about!  There are problems with vaccine deliveries (Canada doesn’t manufacture its own) so we were behind getting them into arms, and the variants started to spread.  Full on 3rd wave and hospitals under duress.  Field hospital built in the Big City.  :-( DH and I are supposed to get the jab next Thursday, and we’re hoping it doesn’t get cancelled! I’m on the hunt for a new mariner striped top, but I’m ‘off’ cotton knit at the moment and looking for something more durable, or that will hold its shape better than traditional t-shirt material.  Having to think about what to do...
