Yes, metallic sandals seem to go with everything and make outfits somehow better than going with matchy neutrals which I tend to do. I got the Kelly sandals before she posted about them but love them and happy to think of them as "Kelly sandals". Thanks Angie! I kept hearing your advice in my head - about being patient etc. Aha - "murky pink" that is exactly right to explain the type of pink I DO like! Thanks Dee, I am really liking soft blues this year. I've always worn a lot of denim but more darker colors so the softer blue is a newer development. Joy - I got that white strap so I could have a solid one for my gold bag (it came with a patterned one). The bag itself is vegan and was fairly low in price, and the only time I use it is in summer, so I couldn't see spending much for guitar strap, esp when Amazon has SO many inexpensive ones. Suz great point about the size of the PomPom bags. They hold more than one might expect as you say. I think they could hold the very tiny water bottles but I haven't tried. I don't tend to use them in deep winter when I always have gloves and a hat to stash and they are a littel too small for that. Yeah the top collection was a real focus for me ... definitly makes a huge difference for summer variety. Tanks RobinF! I am getting used to lighter colors ... wonder if I'll keep it up as the cooler temps arrive? I think this is the first time ever I've had what I could truly call a working closet! kkards very interesting comment about the colors. If I make a comosite from what you and otehrs have said, that print is burgundy, dusty pink, and green ... not just "pink". Star thanks ... the eyelet jacket is one of my faves too. I can't wear heels, need more-than-normal sole cushioning, can't wear backless shoes, etc .. and often feel I have to "settle" for what's left. Also, a warm wave to my bag cousin. I am genuinely surprised by how well those bags work for me. I thought they would be way too small, but they hold more than a person might imagine. The only downside is I can't carry a water bottle in them. But if I'm not walking for too long, I don't need that. They are a nice size for a smaller person to carry around, don't you find? And the wider strap makes them comfortable.  You have managed to collect quite a range of tops in different styles -- that's one thing that can really help in summer, when it can be difficult to feel you have any variety in the closet. I think of myself as a neutral-wearer but it’s pretty obvious that I like some color too. All comments and suggestions welcome, as always! Here are some outfits I wore in June, in no particular order 1. Blue/lavender puff sleeve top, white long bermudas, gold sandals. 2. White eyelet jacket, light wash slightly wider jeans, print tee, tan sandals. I slimmed the legs of these jeans and chopped the hem, and really like the slightly “rumpled” look 3. Salmony pink floral cardigan, olive jeans, black sandals. Not usually a fan of pink but really like this sweater 4. White pullover, light wash jeans, white adidas sneakers. 5. Blue print dress, gold wedge sandals. 6. Brown print tee, denim bermudas, tan sandals. Not so crazy about these bermudas, but I ADORE the print on this tee. 7. Black blouse, black cardigan, olive utility pants, black sandals. Another slightly rumpled look. These pants have a rise of 10.5” which is a little high for me (9.5-10 is better), and there is a little too much fabric “in my lap” when I sit down, but something about the looser fit makes it ok. 8. Grey pants, beige lace top, gold sandals. 9. Blue print blouse, olive long bermudas, gold sandalsI've been using mostly the tan and gold crossbody bags with various straps.
