I know what you mean about the semi monthly shop. DH usually does ours as he also visits is elderly mom and brings her food, but I went with him last week while my car was being serviced. Utterly terrifying. It was before Costco announced their new mask requirement, and I was amazed at how many people weren't wearing them. I'll be making the switch to frozen veggies soon.</p> <p>My citrus tip - I buy bags of lemons and limes. I keep them in the fridge to use fresh - then about a week later, I wash, zest, and juice any remaining and put them into a plastic ice cube tray for freezing. Then I put them in labeled freezer bags and have little single portions that I pull out as needed when I'm out of fresh.
