Summertime I would ride my bike (20km, a different route) both ways and that would take 45-50 min., but it was part of my training.</p> <p>I love trains and public transportation. The commute IS a long one, but I was intrigued by the scenery (along the shores of Lake Ontario). Suz, I was thinking of you and Mr. Suz when you had to take the train to make your flight to the UK during a storm that grounded your local flight! I did get a Wifi connection, but the scenery was more compelling. I snoozed on the return trip! Tired from all the walking and the long day. </p> <p>The old Sears that anchored the Eaton Centre is wrapped up like a package. Is that where the Nordie's is going in 2015? </p> <p>Summer clothes on sale. I have been wearing the heck out of my uniform of rolled jeans and mariner T's. Depending on what I've been doing and whom I've been seeing, I've changed up the foot apparel. Pointy toed shoes for the bank, Birk's wannabes for the farmer's market. </p> <p>We are now moved in and for the most part out of boxes. Painting and decorating yet to do, but all the mechanicals of the house up and running properly! So, today I did a practice run of my commute (a 1 hr train ride) and then did some reconnaissance in the 'big city' of Toronto.
