I've had mixed feelings about going back to some of my pre YLF items and combinations ( like the purple dress and jacket, and the green and white floral dress). Although there is a comfort factor with all the items that survived my SYC /purge months, they don't have the 'fabness' that my newer items have. Being a frugalista, and early on my style quest, I can't justify jettisoning all pre-YLF items, so I'm trying to up the style quotient with new finds.</p> <p>Purchases made with lots of YLF homework are so high in happiness factor, I could wear them every day (the magic dress, the white jean jacket, the white accessories, my new black lace button down). Week started out cold and dreary, with snow Monday and cool Tuesday. Sunny today, so spirits are lifting. I am hoping it gets warm enough this week to show a new acquisition. Maybe tomorrow?</p> <p>#1 loving the Magic dress</p> <p>#2 a very old purple/olive/grey snake skin print that doesn't seem to translate on poor res pics. Wore it with purple velvet jacket. DH provided a compliment this am, so I'm assuming it looked better IRL then in the pics.</p> <p>#3 I usually wear this with a dark jean jacket styled like a fitted jacket, but I'm loving my new whites so much, I had to try them out. The white belt didn't!t have enough holes to wear at waist, so used the green.</p> <p>Thanks for looking! </p>
