Pictures are really so useful, so I think I will next try an opaque tight, and then maybe a nude hose or micro fishnet and take pics for comparison.</p> <p>I'm thinking a higher heeled bootie would make a nicer line. These are so comfortable, and they are sleek and fit nicely at the ankle, though. </p> <p>Our local Sears really is a jumble, and it is hit or miss. The white jacket I wore all summer and my navy blue Clark leather pumps are from there. Right now they have an amazing selection of colour block sheaths that I am trying to resist. </p> <p>My B+M choices really are quite limited! I struggle with booties with skirts, but these fit well at the ankle and look more streamlined. I love Sears myself and that's a nice skirt. </p> <p>I know what you mean about faux leather I had a good experience recently too that changed&nbsp; my mind too. I'd been in the market for a light brown, cognac or gray leather jacket and because I'd just bought a leather jacket in dark brown I did not want to spend more just because I wanted a different color. So I'm in Dress Barn of all places and they have all of these yummy colors in faux leather jackets. I wasn't expecting much but I was open and was pleasantly surprised by the soft pliability and nice feel of it. Faux leather has come a long way from old school plastic. Scored this mixed media skirt unexpectedly, and on sale. I'm a leather snob, but this faux leather is so lovely and soft, and the skirt is beautifully lined. Regular size was a bit short, so sized up and wear on hips vs waist for an extra bit of length. Now able to retire ancient and pilled black pencil skirt.</p> <p>This is my first ever styling of skirt with booties. Should I be pairing with darker tights? Comments, styling ideas welcomed.
