I bought mine at the Nordstrom in Cherry Hill, NJ. My best friend Wendy lives near there and we shop there when I visit her. The customer service at that store is excellent! The sales associates are extremely helpful and courteous. Such a pleasant shopping experience. It's so interesting to read your mother/daughter stories.  Viva, when my best friend Wendy and I first started wearing eye makeup, my mother used to say we looked like "painted hussies!" We still laugh about that one. April, that's terrible that your mother said that. My mother and her sisters were all the curvy ones, while I was the "string bean." Staysfit, I always wondered how my mother even knew what a sack of potatoes looked like since she grew up in Philadelphia. Not exactly farm country! But she would have been a little girl during the depression, so maybe that's it. Firecracker, my mom and I actually laughed about it at the time, too. Not being critical, because that style of dress back in the day tended to look like it was wearing me. Nebraskim, ouch! I used to work with a woman who would ask the "do you like your hair that way" question. I always tried to think of a good comeback - a "right back atcha"  - like, "Oh, I LOVE it! And how do you feel about yours?" Elizabeth, maybe that's it. I tried this top with white jeans, but the ones I have are too big so that didn't work. I do have slim fitting black ankle pants like the model is wearing, I should try those. Sisi, the top would be too sheer without the unerlayer, but I could shorten it. Maybe a bit of alteration is in order? I'll pin it up and see. Everyone else, thank you for the compliments! "Why don't you ever <insert action, such as "wear makeup?>" and my personal favorite: "Oh, I see you are cutting your hair with the lawnmower again."  The latter comment was made to me when I met her and my grandmother at a concert at our performing arts center. I was wearing my extremely short hair in a spiky kind of style and had met them at the center after coming from a workout and shower at the gym. People actually turned around and looked at me.
