Also it’s good when a dress can be worn with a pullover, it really increases its utility I think.<br /> I hardly ever wear ochre, but when I do - here’s how:<br /> A) with navy, or<br /> B) with a printed item that has some ochre in the print.<br /> Not sure if you are into cobalt, but I have seen it pair well with cobalt. Quite striking.<br /> More often I wear tan, a sibling of ochre you could say.<br /> I do want to try more outfits based on variations of the same colour though, rather than using colour contrasts all the time. Occasionally with rust, burgundy, or plum. I think the tonal look is great too! The original price was higher than my comfort point, but I leapt on a deep discount and am really feeling the quality. We have been lucky down here. Most of the flooding is inconvenience rather than devastation. I’m hoping rachylou is doing all right up in San Francisco. I have some friends near Santa Cruz and it seems every time their power is restored, another storm comes through and knocks it out again. They’re also more or less blocked into their neighborhood by mudslides and road damage. We’ve had 3” of rain in the past 24 hours and there’s a lot of areal street flooding outside. I’m barefoot because I have no intention of leaving my cozy house. If I were to go outside (and it weren’t flooding), I’d probably wear my Ariat boots with this. Next time. </p> <p>Interestingly, despite the uncharacteristic amount of color, I feel quite soothed by this outfit. I think it’s the tonal combination and the luscious textures. First wear for this sweater, which is incredibly soft and warm. It feels like a hug. </p> <p>(Third photo is from a news article, but was taken last night about a mile and a half down the road from us. Luckily, our side street was recently repaved and regraded, so we haven’t seen any water accumulation at our intersection,) </p>
