Somehow, it elevates the waist visually, or make the eye go up rather than down, I don't know why. Also, when I wear them shorter, I also wear shorter tops with them. So it changes the whole silhouette. Do try it! Aida, fab, fab, ideas. The scarf is actually a long rectangle. And I WILL be using Mary's board.  I just love scarves but I don't have a tying repertoire.  I always forget about pushing up sleeves. JJ, yes, I can role the pants.  They have zippers, but they are flexible and dark.  I tried it after you suggestion this morning and I think it will work.  Krish, I am strating to think that it is the length. I have long torso and I am 5.5 but most of it is torso. Luckily my mom is a great seamstress. Jen, yes that made sense.  It does seem that if you touch them there will be texture.  They are really, really soft.  I really like them. I just need to fix the length. I will have to play with it.  Maybe with a white shirt it would look better.  Beth, I think that I have to go shorter because of the zipper thing. Especially with these types of open toe bootie-sandals. Very fashion forward, comfortable and simple altogether, a winning combination! It's inspiring. Pant outfit is also very cute, nothing off nor wrong in my eye here, except that maybe in that particular pic your scarf is a tad too long. Nonetheless, the idea of letting it hang to create a vertical line is very clever. I have similar-length pants, and also fell "off" in them for some reason. As a result, never wore them. Then I played around with the hem, folding it inward to make them real ankle pants. And oh! Surprise, it looked much better, even on petite me. I realized the pants had been created to be ankle (showing some of the ankle), but because my legs were shorter, they went too far down. I urge you to give it a try, just to see. You can also do like me and use clothing tape if hems don't hold on their own. The second casual outfit looks good too, great pants! I'd push the sleeves up further and probably fluff the scarf before tying up to get a more dramatic finished look. Is that a rectangular scarf? Try opening the whole thing out, grabbing opposite diagonal ends, then lightly gather it back into a long scarf; you'll get a nice fluffy base to work with (something like <a href="http://www.pinterest.com/pin/151503974936895913" rel="nofollow">this</a>). It is the first time that I have worm them.  They were too risqué for the old me.  They are NYDJs.  They are actually more blue that the pic shows.  It is a dark blue in a ZEBRA pattern.  Holy cow...uh, zebra, Batman.  woo-boo, all caution to the wind.   <div> </div><div>I wore a chambray shirt, because others have been doing it on the site.  :  )  The shoes are dark blue.  And one of my favorite scarves that you guys have seen a few time.    Thanks for checking it out and any suggestions that I can should use for a tweak next time ? </div>
