It is the best thing I have done for ever in terms of having some&nbsp;mental&nbsp;space and I am about to write a lot of "no's" to people to get away from so much 'busy work' I subsume in. I might very well talk in off topic This has been a dream of mine for a very very long time - I am so fortunate! Thank dog for skype that I can chat each day to DH DD and DSs at home every day.<br /><br />Onto fashion! It is a small village but because it is highly visited with tourists there are great shoe and bag stores, silver and semi precious stone jewellery stores... and even a Zara! &nbsp;I keep thinking PPP because the stuff is lovely and extremely well priced. Yesterday I tried some things on in a store - coloured jeans in my size for 25 euros... and then in the lovely European way there is a lovely little scarf/bag etc to tie together a simple jeans/white shirt/jacket kind of look so I am thinking of going back for that.&nbsp;I think I have written before that clothes are very expensive in Australia and there is so much black black or the choice of black...&nbsp; Alas the shoes are too small for my size 42 feet but I am sure I can make do with the scarves, etc... It is the accessories and the gorgeous colours etc that I can't get at home and while I love the USA, there is something special about the way the Europeans mix their colours...&nbsp; I will post some soon!<br /><br />And yesterday being a glorious Spring day, there were weddings everywhere (my apartment is by the cathedral and some other old churches nearly 1000 years old -&nbsp;this is&nbsp;Spain's old capital)... Weddings are truly dressed for and the guests were absolutely beautiful, with their hair&nbsp; done and even the children were just divine. All accompanied by bands, fireworks and cannon fire! I guess I can't post photos of other people but I spent hours in the town square just watching wedding party after wedding party. I arrived feeling a bit blah about my outfitting having been living in a about 8 mainly black pieces for a month now&nbsp;and trying to keep warm. Now the sun is beginning to shine in Spain. Not that these are glamourous but the breton shirt &amp; jeans brought from home&nbsp;with leopard scarf and flats from Soho and the Danier jacket I ended up getting in Canada&nbsp;(thank you for your advice Sveta and Suz, think this is the one Inge bought? maybe you as well Sveta... it is getting lots of wear). #2 I am wearing today - Eileen&nbsp;Fisher harem pants with my cheapie tshirt from home, leopard flats (not the best - would love Unfrumpeds EF gladiators but my size is gone...) and Old Navy denim jacket... Feels like I need to fluff my hair and get a lot more silver jewellery happening in Espana&nbsp;:-)&nbsp; There are gorgeous leather bags, shoes and silver jewellery here....
