You will get a lot of mixed responses on the ethics of trying to return the shoes. I would try to return, but I would not try to pass them as unworn. To be honest, my Nordies does not even open the shoe boxes when I return. That makes me nervous. That will get you farther than not saying anything and having them think you're trying to pull one over on them. The other thing to do is to just ask for their advice -- i.e., "is there any way that these can be stretched or enlarged a little bit..." even if you know the answer is no.
